How does it work at the event?

At the event, guests point their phone camera at your QR code, the upload page opens in their browser, they type a first name once and start adding photos; everything lands in one shared gallery that anyone with the code can open.

Before the day you create the event online and get a QR code and a 6-character event code. Print the QR code, or put the link in a group chat. A guest who cannot scan types the event code on Eventphoto.io instead; the link, the code and the QR code all open the same page.

Uploads come straight from the camera roll in the original quality, and the gallery refreshes on its own while the page is open, so guests see each other's photos during the party. On the free plan each guest can add up to 20 photos; on the paid plan guests add unlimited photos and videos.

You manage the event from the browser you created it in, which is recognized as the host's, or from the host link in your confirmation email: delete anything you do not want and, when the party is over, request the ZIP of everything. The cover photo, the printable QR code and the sign designer live in the dashboard, which you open with a one-time code sent to the same email.

What it costs

  • Free: 20 photos per guest, kept 14 days from when you create the event
  • Paid: $19.99 (£15.99 in the UK) per event for unlimited photos and videos per guest, kept up to 12 months
  • One-time payment. No subscription and no fee per guest.

Make a test event and scan it yourself

It takes a minute and costs nothing. Create one, scan the code with your own phone, upload a test photo, and you will know exactly what your guests will see. Create the real one close to the day: the storage window starts when the event is made.
