Can guests get in without scanning the QR code?

Yes: every event also has a short event code of 6 letters and digits that a guest can type on Eventphoto.io, and a link you can send in a message; the QR code, the event code and the link all open the same page.

The event code is shown next to the QR code when you create the event and on the event's page in your dashboard, so you can read it out at the table or print it under the QR code for guests whose camera will not focus.

The link is the easiest route for guests who are not in the room: paste it into the group chat before the day, or send it to the aunt who photographed the ceremony on a real camera and wants to add the pictures from home. Uploads are accepted until the event expires, not only on the day.

If you set a PIN when you created the event, guests enter it once after scanning or typing the code, and their browser remembers it.
