GuestPix alternatives: the one-time $19.99 option, and two others

The job is the same on the night of the event: guests point a phone at a code, the upload page opens in the browser, and their photos join everyone else’s. Eventphoto.io charges $19.99 (£15.99 in the UK) once per event for it; GuestPix’s wedding packages are $49–$119 (checked October 2026). Both have a free plan. GuestPix’s: 50 photos, 30-day upload window. Ours: 20 photos from every guest, however many come.

Fair is fair: GuestPix is an established product, and if you want what it adds over us (the extras row above), it is the better fit. But the thing most people are buying is narrow (one code on the tables, every guest photo in one place afterwards) and that should not cost package money.

Which to pick: if you want one of the extras above, take the app that lists it; if you want one QR code, no app for anyone, and video on the paid plan for a one-time $19.99 (£15.99 in the UK) with nothing renewing, Eventphoto.io is the simple choice. Common questions

What is a good GuestPix alternative?

Eventphoto.io does the same core job (guests scan a QR code and upload from the phone into one private gallery, with no app and no account) for a one-time $19.99 (£15.99 in the UK) per event, against GuestPix's $49–$119 wedding packages (list prices checked October 2026). Both have a free plan. GuestPix's: 50 photos, 30-day upload window. Ours: 20 photos from every guest, kept 14 days, no card.

How is Eventphoto.io cheaper?

One flat tier instead of packages. The one-time $19.99 (£15.99 in the UK) covers unlimited photos and videos per guest from any number of guests, video files up to 200 MB, 12 months of storage, a digital guest book, a printable QR sign designer and photo search across the whole gallery. Nothing renews, and there is no per-guest charge.

What is GuestPix better at?

Digital invitations with RSVPs, a private feed with likes and comments, a slideshow with photos and videos, a written and video guest book, and hosting counted from the event date. Its storage: 12 months from the event date (three-gallery bundle: 24 months from purchase). If you want those, GuestPix is the better fit. If your need is the core one, collecting every guest photo and video through one QR code, Eventphoto.io does that job for a one-time $19.99 (£15.99 in the UK).

Who can see the photos guests upload?

Everyone holding the QR code or the event code sees the same gallery — that is the point of it, and people do go back through it the next morning. It is never public and is not indexed by search engines, and only the private host page manages the event and downloads the whole set as one ZIP.

Is Eventphoto.io the same as GuestCam.co?

No, they are different companies. Eventphoto.io (called GuestCam.io until September 2026) is operated by Cloud Ninja Consulting ApS (Denmark) and charges a one-time $19.99 (£15.99 in the UK) per event with a free plan. GuestCam.co is an unrelated company with its own prices ($49 (Standard) or $97 (Premium) per event when we checked in October 2026). See our Eventphoto.io vs GuestCam.co page for the details.

Can I try it before paying anything?

Yes, and the free plan is not a time-limited trial of the paid one. Create an event in well under a minute, print the code, and collect up to 20 photos per guest with 14 days of storage — downloading everything as a ZIP included. Upgrade only if you want video, longer storage or no per-guest limit.

What happens to the photos afterwards?

Download them. The host page packs everything into one ZIP and emails you the download link, usually within minutes; from there they are ordinary files — an album, a slideshow, a backup drive, whatever you want. A free event is deleted with its media once its 14 days are up, so download before then; a paid event gives you 12 months.
