2. The service

Eventphoto.io is a digital service that allows event organisers to collect photos and videos from guests via a unique event ID and QR code. The service is available as a free plan and a paid one-time-purchase plan.

3. Plans, pricing, and payment

Free plan: currently includes up to 20 uploads per guest, images only, no AI tagging, and a 14-day event expiry.

Paid plan: a one-time purchase per event that includes up to 999 uploads per guest (subject to fair use, section 7), images and videos, AI image tagging, and a current event expiry of 365 days. The price depends on the site you buy from:

Prices include VAT for consumers in the EU. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay; VAT is calculated from your billing address and shown on the receipt. Business customers can enter a VAT number at checkout.

Event credits for organisations: signed-in hosts with an organisation can buy packs of event credits at a volume discount from the single-event price. Each credit activates one paid event; credits do not expire.

Payment is handled by Stripe. Available payment methods depend on Stripe, device, and region at checkout.

4. Delivery and activation

Paid features are activated after successful payment confirmation. If a free event is upgraded, the paid plan applies to the entire existing event immediately after activation.

5. Right of withdrawal

For paid digital content that is delivered and activated immediately after purchase, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that the 14-day right of withdrawal ceases once delivery has begun, in accordance with the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (forbrugeraftaleloven) § 18, stk. 2, nr. 13 where applicable.

6. Content and copyright

All content uploaded by guests belongs to the respective copyright holders. Eventphoto.io only stores the content temporarily as part of delivering the service. The event organiser is responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions from guests.

7. Fair use

Eventphoto.io is for collecting and sharing photos and videos from the guests at a specific event, for the host and that event's guests. It is not a backup, file-storage or file-hosting service, and not a way to distribute files to people outside the event.

Each event has a limit on the total number and size of its files: 15,000 files or 25 GB for paid events (including events created with planner credits) and 2,000 files or 8 GB for free events, whichever is reached first. These limits are far above what normal events use, and we can raise them for an event on request.

In cases of clear misuse, such as uploading files that have nothing to do with the event, automated uploading, or using an event to distribute files publicly, we may slow down or pause new uploads to the event, remove the files concerned or, in serious or repeated cases, suspend the event. We use the mildest step that solves the problem, and pausing uploads does not affect the photos and videos already in the gallery. Where possible we contact the host by email before we act; if we must act at once, we tell the host as soon as possible afterwards. The host can reply to ask us to review the decision.

If an event is restricted because of clear misuse, no refund is due and an event credit used for it is not returned. If we restrict a real event by mistake, we lift the restriction and refund part or all of the price, depending on how much of the event's use was lost. Nothing in this section limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

8. Expiry, deletion, and download responsibility

Free events currently expire after 14 days and paid events currently expire after 365 days. Expiry closes normal use of the event, and hosts should download needed content before that point.

An automatic job permanently deletes expired events, including all photos, videos, guestbook messages and download archives, the day after the expiry date, normally within 48 hours of expiry. Content the host deletes manually is removed at once. Deleted content cannot be recovered.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by mandatory law, Eventphoto.io is not liable for loss of data due to technical errors, unforeseen outages, or force majeure, and the service is provided "as is". Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes shall be resolved by the Danish courts. This does not affect the mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live as a consumer, or your right to bring proceedings there.

Consumers may also bring a complaint before the Danish consumer complaints body, Nævnenes Hus (naevneneshus.dk), subject to its rules on which complaints it accepts, or the consumer dispute body in the EU/EEA country where they live.
