Guests scan the QR code, type a first name on the page that opens, tap the upload button and pick photos from the camera roll; on a paid event, videos too. Each file goes straight to the shared gallery in its original quality.
They can select several files at once. A progress bar shows each file going up, and the gallery on the same page shows what everyone else has added. If a guest closes the page and comes back on the same phone, the browser remembers the name, and their own uploads are marked as theirs, so they can delete one they regret.
Photos can be up to 10 MB each, in JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF or the HEIC and HEIF formats iPhones use. Videos, on the paid plan, can be up to 200 MB each in MP4, MOV, MPEG or WebM. On the free plan a guest can add up to 20 photos and no video.
The gallery is live: the page refreshes on its own while it is open, so guests at one table see the photos coming in from another.
