The free plan: 20 photos per guest, photos only, no limit on guests, the PIN, the shared gallery and the full ZIP, kept for 14 days from creation. A child's birthday, a baby shower or a dinner where you create the event the day before fits it well.
The paid plan, $19.99 (£15.99 in the UK) once for the event: unlimited photos and videos per guest, clips up to 200 MB, the digital guest book, the QR sign designer, AI tags, and 12 months from the upgrade. A wedding is the typical case: the signs are printed weeks ahead, the speeches and the first dance are video, and the guests who photograph everything pass 20 photos before dessert.
You do not have to decide up front. Start free, and upgrade the same event from the screen after creating it, from the dashboard, or when a guest hits the limit; the QR code stays the same and everything already uploaded stays. The one thing to decide early is the date: a free event made months before the party expires before anyone scans it.
