What is the guest book?

The guest book is a section of the event page, on the paid plan, where guests type a message or film a short video greeting with the phone camera, so the wishes from the quiet table end up with the photos.

A guest taps Leave a message under the gallery, chooses Write a message or Record a video, and the entry appears in the guest book with the name they gave. It is the same page and the same QR code as the photos, with nothing to install, and every guest with the code can read the greetings during the party.

On a free event the guest book is shown to the host only, as a preview with an unlock button that opens the upgrade; guests see it once the event is paid. A guest can edit their own typed message afterwards from the same phone; the host can delete any message or video greeting with the trash icon next to it.

Video greetings are stored like any other video, up to 200 MB each, and come down in the videos folder of the ZIP; typed messages are not files and stay in the guest book, so copy them out before the event expires. The dashboard shows how many entries an event has and links straight to the guest book.
