AI tagging labels the photos in a paid event by what is in them (cake, dancing, bride), so you can filter a gallery of several hundred pictures down to the dance floor or the group shots instead of scrolling through all of it.
Tags come from a fixed list of English words (Danish on the Danish site). They describe the picture; nothing recognizes faces or identifies anyone, and videos are not tagged.
Tagging runs on paid events only, on photos only, and stops after the first 500 tagged photos of an event, so on a very large wedding the last part of the gallery is untagged and has to be scrolled the old way.
It is one of the paid-plan extras alongside unlimited photos and videos, 12 months of storage, the guest book and the sign designer, all for $19.99 (£15.99 in the UK) once per event.
