Yes: a QR code on each table does what disposable cameras did, guests photographing each other, minus the film cost, the shot limit and the lab wait. It is the most common reason people find us.
The mechanics are the same from the guest's side: something on the table invites them to take pictures. The difference is what happens next. A disposable camera holds a fixed number of frames and shows you nothing until the film is back from the lab; the gallery fills up during the party, everyone with the code can see it, and you download the whole set as one ZIP the next morning.
Guests use the camera they already know, their phone, so the photos are sharp, in color and in the original quality, including video on the paid plan. The free plan takes 20 photos per guest for 14 days; the paid plan, $19.99 (£15.99 in the UK) once for the whole event, takes unlimited photos and videos for 12 months. The guide below runs the cost against film cameras for three wedding sizes.
What you lose is the look: the flash-lit, grainy film frame some couples want on purpose. Nothing stops you putting both on the table; the QR code also catches the guests who would never pick up a camera but photograph everything on their phone. It does not replace the professional photographer either; it collects what the guests shoot.
