Help · Getting started

How long does it take to set up?

About a minute: you type an event name and your email address, choose whether guests need a PIN, and the QR code is on your screen, with no account to create and no card to enter.

The event name is what guests see at the top of their page. The email address is where the confirmation with your host link goes, and later the download link for the ZIP. The PIN is on by default and is 4 to 6 digits; switch it off before creating the event if you would rather guests only need the code.

One thing to decide before you create it: the storage window starts on the day the event is created, not on the day of the party. A free event is kept for 14 days, so create it in the week of the event. A paid event is kept for 12 months from the upgrade, which is what you want when the signs and programs are printed well in advance.

You can sign in later with a one-time code sent to your email to see all your events in one dashboard, but you never have to: the host link in the confirmation email is enough to manage one event.

What it costs

  • Free: 20 photos per guest, kept 14 days from when you create the event
  • Paid: $19.99 (£15.99 in the UK) per event for unlimited photos and videos per guest, kept up to 12 months
  • One-time payment. No subscription and no fee per guest.

Make a test event and scan it yourself

It takes a minute and costs nothing. Create one, scan the code with your own phone, upload a test photo, and you will know exactly what your guests will see. Create the real one close to the day: the storage window starts when the event is made.
