How do I hand an event over to the client?

In the Pro dashboard, open the event, set Who manages this event to Your client, enter the client's email address and save: the client gets the event email with the link, the QR code and the PIN, and can run the event from their own dashboard while you keep full access.

Handing over is optional and can happen at any point: before the wedding, so the couple prints the sign and shares the link themselves, or afterwards, so they download the ZIP. A client who signs in to the dashboard with a one-time code sent to that email sees the event and can change the PIN, the name and the cover, print the QR code and download everything; they cannot reassign or delete it, and they do not see your internal label.

Switching back to You takes the event back without sending anything; neither direction sends a security notice about the changed host email, because the change is your choice. If the client lost the email, send it again with the button in the same box.

Guests notice nothing: the QR code, the link and the gallery stay the same, with your branding or the neutral page you chose. The event emails to the client go out in your business name when you set one, or in the event's name when you chose neutral, and they come from our address.

What it costs

  • Free: 20 photos per guest, kept 14 days from when you create the event
  • Paid: $19.99 (£15.99 in the UK) per event for unlimited photos and videos per guest, kept up to 12 months
  • One-time payment. No subscription and no fee per guest.

Make a test event and scan it yourself

It takes a minute and costs nothing. Create one, scan the code with your own phone, upload a test photo, and you will know exactly what your guests will see. Create the real one close to the day: the storage window starts when the event is made.
