What if an inappropriate photo is shared?

Delete it: as the host you can remove any upload from the gallery, and it disappears for every guest at once. Use the trash icon on the photo, the full-size view, or Select to remove several in one go.

There is no approval queue and no automatic filter: uploads appear in the shared gallery the moment they arrive, which is what keeps the gallery live during the party, and it also means a photo you do not want is visible until you remove it. Keep an eye on the gallery during the evening, or ask someone you trust to. Your browser is the host's if you created the event in it or opened the host link from the confirmation email; another phone becomes the host's by tapping Download all and entering the code emailed to the host address.

A guest who regrets an upload can delete it themselves from the same phone, and a guest can edit their own guest-book message; everything else is yours to remove. Deleting is permanent and takes the file out of any ZIP you request afterwards.

If something was uploaded that needs more than deleting, such as a photo of someone who did not consent or content that breaks the law, delete it first and then write to support@eventphoto.io with the event code; a person reads it. The PIN, on by default, keeps strangers from uploading in the first place: only guests who were given it can open the event.

Make a test event and scan it yourself

It takes a minute and costs nothing. Create one, scan the code with your own phone, upload a test photo, and you will know exactly what your guests will see. Create the real one close to the day: the storage window starts when the event is made.
